Blake E. Barnes, D.D.S.
Dr. Blake Barnes has been providing exceptional dental care for 30 years! Dr. Barnes graduated with honors from Cornell College in 1976 and earned his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the University of Iowa College of Dentistry in 1980. He is a member of the American Dental Association, the Seattle Study Club and is a Past President of the North Iowa District of the Iowa Dental Association.
He is very active in the community and has volunteered for many causes including Francis Lauer Youth Services, the Donated Dental Services program and the Hawk-i Healthy & Well Kids in Iowa. He is past president of the Noon Lions Club and the Mason City Country Club and currently serves as Chairman of the Board of Trustees at Praise Community Church. He also has served on many boards including the United Way, YMCA, Head Start and Jaycees.He currently is on the governing board of the Cerro Gordo Community Foundation.
Dr. Barnes and his wife, Nancy, have three grown children. Cory is living and working in Minneapolis. Their daughter, Melissa and her husband Matt, live in the Cedar Rapids area and have three beautiful children, Alexander, Victoria and Joshua. Eric is completing his senior year in dental school at the University of Iowa. Upon graduation, Eric will be returning to practice dentistry at the Dental Center of North Iowa. In his leisure time, Blake enjoys running marathons, golf and is an avid Chicago Cubs, Chicago Bears, and Iowa Hawkeye fan.
Michael W. Louscher, D.D.S.
For Dr. Michael Louscher, becoming a dentist was a natural fit. After all, it runs in his family. His father, uncle, cousin, nephew and sister are all part of the dental profession. Dr. Louscher earned a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Finance from the University of Iowa in 1989 and a Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the University of Iowa College of Dentistry in 1996. He has been in practice for 17 years.
To stay updated on the latest advancements in dentistry, Dr. Louscher maintains memberships in the American Dental Association, North Iowa District of the Iowa Dental Association (past president) and the Seattle Study Club. He gives back to the community by volunteering with United Way’s Give Kids a Smile program, Donated Dental Services program and the Hawk-i Healthy & Well Kids in Iowa.
He and his wife, Angi, have been married for more than 20 years and three children: Blake, Kane, and Mary Katherine. Dr. Louscher is an avid Hawkeye fan and loves to play golf.
